Rhiannon Evans has been designing and making unique and beautiful jewellery in the heart of wales for over 30 years. Based in Tregaron in the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains, her business is proud of its Welsh identity and is an important part of the local community.
From early beginnings in the 1970’s, it has developed into a family business supplying Welsh and Celtic design jewellery worldwide.
Over the years, Rhiannon’s exclusive jewellery - hand made in Silver, Gold and Welsh Gold – has developed an international reputation for quality of design and manufacture. Both her new designs and old favourites are inspired by living and working as closely as possible to the old language and traditions of the Celts, - but rather than copy from actual historical finds, she prefers to create her own new designs following old traditions and visual conventions.
Rhiannon still makes much of the jewellery herself, with the help of assistant goldsmiths trained within the company, and every item is carefully scrutinised to ensure the highest quality. Rhiannon jewellery is made to last; chains are heavier, earrings are stronger, brooch fittings are safer, and every piece bears the full British Hallmark as proof of provenance and purity for the future.
The jewellery is made on the premises in Tregaron by Welsh speaking goldsmiths and visitors can watch work in progress in the purpose built viewing workshops.
